Youth Programs

The sustainability of tennis in Mississippi Mills is charged to the youth of our communities. The Almonte Tennis Club offers activities to support youth participation.

Almonte District High School

The Almonte Tennis Club supports ADHS by offering free courts space to their Physical Education Program.

The students in Stephanie St. John’s physical education classes from Almonte and District High School have been developing their tennis skills over the last few years.  Many of these students have never had the opportunity to play tennis, so having the use of these courts has been an invaluable part of their physical education program.  Janet Morrison has generously offered her time and expertise for some of these sessions in hopes to encourage more young students to take up the wonderful sport of tennis.  Stephanie would like to thank all of the members of the Almonte tennis club for welcoming her students onto their courts.
